Words in a document. None of that is necessarily bad, but it only goes so far. It is very easy to *say one thing* and then *do another*. A Decombine Smart Legal Contract gives us the ability to codify what happens in an agreement with actions taken using software. You don't need to be a computer expert to use or understand them either. It's a really quite simple. We already use software like Word and PDF to create our agreements and our contracts - why not go all the way? If software is driving the execution of a contract, that means you get insight as to what is actually happening. It becomes a lot harder to say one thing and do another. ## Getting started You don't need to create SLC from scratch yourself (although you can). You can jump right in with [Decombine Network](https://decombine.com).
